TAEKWONDO GRANADA
Taekwondo Rubén Hita is located in Huétor Vega and La Zubia, both 10 minutes from the center of Granada, Spain. It is one of the largest and best known taekwondo schools in Andalusia. Instructor Rubén Hita has been teaching taekwondo to children, teenagers and adults, as well as people with disabilities, for more than 20 years.
Our taekwondo school in Granada has produced multiple champions and representatives in the Andalusian and Spanish taekwondo teams in Combat, Poomsae and Freestyle Acrobatics. Our trainers work to help you achieve your objectives through values and discipline, as well as improving psychomotor skills, physical performance or preparation for competition. We invite you to come and try a taekwondo class and experience how Rubén and his team of collaborating instructors meticulously program classes to help students overcome challenges and enhance their abilities through tools such as teamwork, respect, fun, companionship and discipline.

RUBEN HITA TAMAYO
National Trainer, 6th dan Black Belt, Andalusian Regional Taekwondo Team Coach, Level 3 Sports Coach specialized in high-performance athletes, considered a high-level trainer by the Higher Sports Council, Global Para-taekwondo Instructor and national poomsae medalist on numerous occasions.
Rubén Hita has been teaching taekwondo in Granada for more than 20 years. Taekwondo is his passion and he has trained several Andalusian and Spanish champions in both poomsae and combat, guiding them towards becoming international champions in several countries, including a European bronze in 2021. Rubén has also represented the Andalusian Taekwondo Federation as an athlete for over a decade.
Passionate about the values of teaching and the result of his constant formation as a trainer and coach, his objective is to apply all the knowledge acquired after many years of training and research while teaching classes to students of all backgrounds, age, gender and ability. He is highly involved in Para-taekwondo for people with disabilities, imparting classes at the Immaculate Conception Foundation and co-directing the Andalusian Taekwondo Federation's Para-taekwondo, Disability and Integration Committee.
FACILITIES
Taekwondo Rubén Hita Rubén has more than 200m2 of space in Huétor Vega and a 180m2 tatami in La Zubia, both 10 minutes from the centre of Granada, Spain. Rubén and his team are committed to providing their athletes with a first class environment to practice this olympic sport, with regular investments to improve facilities and the acquisition of various materials to complement each taekwondo class as well as, acrobatics, freestyle, functional training and Zumba.
